Theodore M. Stone, 93, of Belle Vernon, Washington Twp., passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023 at his home. Born June 2, 1930 in McKeesport, PA he was the son of the late Chester E. and Harriet I. Sheavly Stone. A resident of Belle Vernon for over 25 years, Mr. Stone was a retired production manager for US Steel, DOD, DLA (Defense Logistics Agency). He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the US Army and was member of the Shriners and Masonic Lodge for over 60 years.
He is survived by his wife Darlene C. Bach Stone to whom he was married to for 37 years, his children Lynn & Gary Clark of North Huntingdon, William George & Pamela Stone of Allentown, David & Kimberly Stone of Irwin, Virginia & Joseph Caruso of Marlton, NJ, Sheila & Brian Ruhl of Belle Vernon, Lisa & Brian Hritz of North Huntingdon, 15 grandchildren James (Michelle) Ogg, Kristy (Chris) Pierce, Rebecca Stone, Jessica Stone, Camilla (Daniel) Juarin, David (Amanda) Stone, Daniel (Fiancé Brittany Hodgkins) Stone, Joseph Anthony Caruso, Christina Ann Caruso, Katharine Ruhl, Michael Kozarian, Logan P. Flanagan, Delaney Flanagan, ten great grandchildren Kendall, Carter, Alivia, Haley, Damon, Theodore, Jaelyn, Rayne, Jakob, and Brianna. He is preceded in death by his son Sean Patrick Flanagan, two brothers George and Fred, and three sisters Mary, Harriet, and Dolly.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-6 pm followed by funeral services at 6 pm in the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
