Violet 'Dolly' Brown

Violet “Dolly” Walters Brown, 83, of Pricedale, died Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 8:06 pm at Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Twp.  Born January 2, 1933 in Pricedale, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Margaret Beato Walters.   A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mrs. Brown was a member of Pricedale Union Church and was a retired sales clerk from the former G.C. Murphy, Charleroi for 26 years.

She is survived by her husband Joseph S. Brown; three step children Sharon & John Casario of Jeannette, Richard & Lisa Brown of Belle Vernon, David Brown of Belle Vernon; three grandchildren Evan Brown, Aaron Brown, Paige Casario; two brothers Leroy Walters of Belle Vernon, Larry Walters of Monessen; and four sisters and two brothers in law Jean Miller of Washington DC, Nancy & Bob Dexter of Ohio, Patricia & Ronald Sholtis of Belle Vernon and Kathy Lipari of Belle Vernon.  She is preceded in death by her first husband John Leezer; a son John T. Leezer and two sisters Barbara Sadler and Sally Harkins.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Services will be held Friday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations at 10:00 AM with the Rev. James J. Mimidis  of Pricedale Union Church officiating.  Interment will take place in Monongahela Cemetery.
