William Fritsky

William Fritsky, 85, of Munhall, formerly of Belle Vernon, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Grandview Estates of Elizabeth.  Born December 27, 1934 in Belle Vernon, PA he was the son of the late Wassil and Mary Staranka Fritsky.  A resident of Munhall for the past 50 years, Mr. Fritsky was a member of St. Mary’s Russian Orthodox Church, McKeesport.  Mr. Fritsky was retired from US Steel, Homestead where he worked as a lab technician, served in the US Army, enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

He is survived by his wife Nancy L. Bickerton Fritsky to whom he married 54 years, son & daughter in law John & Abby Fritsky of Irwin, daughter Laura Fritsky of Mesa, AZ, grandchildren Chase Mattis, Christopher Fritsky, Jacob Fritsky, Casey Proctor, great grandchildren Blake and Briella Proctor. He is preceded in death by his brothers Anthony and Alexander Fritsky and sisters Anna Dobos, Nellie Fritsky and Helen Fritsky.

Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC at 1:00 PM with the Father Dimitri Ermakov of St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church, McKeesport officiating.  Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Masks MUST be worn and social distancing must still be maintained.
