Boleslaw "Blair" Jankowski

Boleslaw “Blair” Jankowski, 65, of Rostraver Twp., passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Jefferson Hospital, Jefferson Hills.  Born March 25, 1955 in Pittsburgh, PA he was the son of the late Blair and Marianna (Kolodziej) Jankowski.  A resident of Rostraver for over 40 years, Mr. Jankowski was a member of the Church of St. Anne, Rostraver Twp., owned and operated Blair's Refrigeration and Electrical Service and was retired from California University of PA as a maintenance manager.  Blair was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the US Marine Corps.  He loved spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren who were the twinkle in his eye. Well known for his 4th of July spectacular firework shows with the neighborhood cheering “Blair is Great”.  Known to have an infectious laugh, he was very proud of his Polish heritage.  Blair was a member of the Arnold City Polish National Alliance (PNA), Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 and the Pricedale Russian Club along with several other social clubs.

He is survived by his wife Tamira “Tami” (Falappi) Jankowski, to whom he was married 31 years; son Blair Jankowski of Rostraver Twp.; three daughters & two sons-in-law, Tamira & Jody Spedaliere of Rostraver Twp., Christina Spiegel of Pittsburgh, Lisa & Seth Renner of Alburtis; six grandchildren Maria Spedaliere, Noah Spedaliere, Nicolas Spiegel, Chase Renner, Carson Renner, Cloey Renner; brother in law & sister in law Donald & Barbara Jean Falappi of Monongahela; and two sisters-in-law, Rita Jankowski of Pittsburgh and Janice Falappi of Donora.  He is preceded in death by his two brothers Edward Jankowski and Robert Jankowski.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Due to COVID restrictions, friends and family will be notified of a celebration of life which will be held at a later date.  With Krupnik in hand “Nasdrovia”.
