Gloria L. (Wilson) Balog

Gloria L. Wilson Balog, 89, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Twp., passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at South Western Nursing Care Center, West Mifflin.  Born April 2, 1931 in N. Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Rose Bennati Wilson.  A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mrs. Balog was retired from Mr. Donut, Tri-County Plaza and the former Mario’s Pizza on Route 906.  Gloria was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Pirate and Steeler games.

She is survived by daughter & son in law Barbara & Frank Holzwarth of Rostraver Twp., son & daughter in law John & Sue Balog of Rostraver Twp.; grandson Michael John & Renee Balog; nieces and nephews Nancy Balog, Veronica Morgan, Rob Kubicko, Susan Kubicko, Glenn Haukedhal and her puppy Gigi.  She is preceded in death by her husband John Balog; grandson Dale Christopher Williams; brother Donald Wilson and a sister Evelyn Kubicko.
