Iris Kay (Hott) Black

Iris Kay Hott Black, 83, of Allenport, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Dunlevy Manor, Dunlevy.  Born August 1, 1939 in Bedford, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Smith Hott.  Mrs. Black was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon and enjoyed reading her bible.

She is survived by son Scott Black, daughter in law Marsha Black, six grandchildren Mike Black Jr. & wife Voni, Charlie Black, Nathan Black, Parker Black, Chase Black, Landon Black, and six great grandchildren Cameron, Carter, Brooklyn, Jordan, Callie, and Dayton.  She is preceded in death by her husband Wade Gary Black and son Michael Black.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 3 from 10-11 AM followed by funeral services at 11 AM with the Pastor Earl J. Rosenbalm in the funeral home.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Private family interment will take place in Rehoboth Cemetery.
