Obituary

John A. Angelo, 55, of Perryopolis, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Penn Highlands - Mon Valley, Monongahela.  Born May 17, 1968 in N. Charleroi, PA he was the son of the late Kathryn J. McGowan Angelo.  A resident of Perryopolis for most of his life, Mr. Angelo was Christian by faith and worked at Walmart, Belle Vernon in the maintenance department.  John was a member of Hiller Rod & Gun Club, enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle and was an avid outdoorsman.

He is survived by significant other Lesley Schumacher, two daughters Chelsea Angelo of Belle Vernon, Hayley Angelo of Monongahela, brother & sister in law Victor & Donna Angelo of Charleroi, two sisters & brother in law Vicky Lynn & John Phillips of Perryopolis, Kathryn A. Younkin of Pittsburgh, and four grandchildren Sophia Angelo, Rylie Ziemba, Karson Angelo, and Delanney Waggoner. 

Visitation will be held Thursday from 6-8 PM in the Parzynski Funeral Home. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515.
