Larry A. Petras

Larry A. Petras, 78, of Monongahela, Carroll Twp., passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020 at Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Twp.  Born June 5, 1941 in N. Charleroi, PA he was the son of the late Frank L. and Lydia Pink Petras.  A resident of Carroll Twp., Mr. Petras was a retired electrician from David Jones Electric, Belle Vernon.  Larry was a gun enthusiast and enjoyed shooting at various target ranges, enjoyed golfing and vacationing at the beach.

He is survived by son & daughter in law Eric & Janet Petras of Carroll Twp.; daughter Laura Petras of Jefferson Twp.; four grandchildren Rachel Petras, Matthew Petras, Victoria Dulla, Elizabeth Dulla and a brother & sister in law Richard & Jeannetta ‘Tippy’ Petras of Fairmont, WV.  He is preceded in death by his wife Linda L. Huber Petras.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and state mandate visitation and services will be private for the family.  Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Charleroi.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.
