Nola (Atkinson) Pelczar

Nola Atkinson Pelczar, 90, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Twp., passed away Monday, November 28, 2022 at TLC Personal Care Home, West Newton.  Born March 5, 1932 in Roscoe, PA she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Irene Stark Atkinson.  A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mrs. Pelczar was a member of Lynnwood Lutheran Church.  Nola was a retired clerk from the former Wetterau & Super Value.  She was a self-employed beautician, owned and operated her own ceramic shop and later worked at Gabe's.  Nola also enjoyed and always kept busy with her seasonal crafting.

She is survived by son & daughter in law Dan & Terri Pelczar of Monongahela, daughter & son in law Delma & Robert Cruz of Warner Robins, GA, four grandchildren Laurie Helsel, Dan Pelczar, Luke Pelczar, Josh Cruz, and two great grandchildren Sawyer James Pelczar and Waylon Lukas Pelczar.  She is preceded in death by her husband Edwin A. Pelczar and sister Delma Atkinson Mood.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC at 10:00 AM.  Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
