Raymond S. Thompson Jr.

Raymond S. Thompson, Jr., 75, of North Belle Vernon, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021 at his home.  Born May 19, 1946 in Brownsville, PA he was the son of the late Raymond Thompson Sr. and Helen Schwenk Thompson.  A resident of North Belle Vernon for the past 40 years, he was a veteran of the Vietnam Era where he served in the US Navy from 1964-1968 as an aviation electronics technician.  Raymond was a director of Operation Outward Reach, Youngwood until his retirement in 2011.  He enjoyed antiquing with his wife Lois, reading history and most of all enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Lois Burrows Thompson to whom he was married to for 42 years, daughter Kristine Jones & Fiancé Jack Wright of Rostraver Twp., son & daughter in law Mark & Erin Thompson of Harleysville, daughter & son in law Leigh & Keith Kuzmovich of Cranberry Twp, sister Dorothy Masciotti of Yardley, six grandchildren Kristian Shepler, Nathan Shepler, Katherine Thompson, Lillian Thompson, Marina Kuzmovich, Daniel Kuzmovich, two brothers in law Edward Burrows &  wife Mary, David  Burrows & Maria Rodriguez, two nephews Drew Masciotti, Edward Burrows and great nephew Camren Masciotti.

Private family visitation and funeral services were held Thursday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.
