Sam Suppa Jr.

Sam Suppa, Jr., 73, of Belle Vernon, Washington Twp., passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at Penn Highlands Health Care, Mon Valley, Monongahela.  Born December 16, 1947 in Uniontown, PA he was the son of the late Sam Suppa Sr. and Jean Zugaro Suppa.  A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mr. Suppa was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church, Belle Vernon and was a retired supervisor from US Steel, Clairton Works.  Sam was a veteran having served in the US Marine Corps., a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659, was an avid weightlifter, enjoyed camping and fishing but most of all traveling to the beach and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart Annette Tomalski Suppa to whom he was married 55 years; son Sam Scott Suppa of South Carolina; two daughters Angela Jean Suppa & Tom of Belle Vernon, Barbra Anne Cloar of Wooster, Ohio; eight grandchildren Sarilyn Suppa, Hunter Suppa, Anna Sedlak, Allyson Sedlak, T.J. Sedlak, Noah Cloar, Casey Cloar, Emily Cloar; sister & brother in law Joyce & Nick Affinito of Belle Vernon; brother in law & sister in law Tom & Debbie Tomalski; three sisters in law Marcella Niccolai, Marie Tonarelli, Dorothy Ramsier and numerous nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his sister Josephine Argirakis.

Visitation will be held Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Prayers of Transfer will be held Tuesday at 9:00 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 9:30 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston as celebrant.  Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
